Online Tools

One of the things I love about the Internet community is how many people share their online tools for free or a small fee. These tools range from A to Z (A is for Google’s Apture and Z is for …) and can cover many categories from business to play.

I’ve been collecting them for a while. As many of my friends have liked my sharing them with them, I wanted to capture them all in one place to share with you. This is just the beginning of the list. Come back soon to see what new ones I add.

AND if you have online tools that you would like to share, please leave a comment below. Be sure to include the website address for the tool and why you like it. Thanks, Elaine

Research tools:

  • Apture – is a Google Chrome extension. It is a free tool that lets you take the power of Google search, and the richness of YouTube, Flickr, Twitter, and Wikipedia with you to any site. Just highlight a phrase on any site to reveal the web’s best content without ever leaving the page.  Fast, powerful, and fun. To learn more, click here to read my post about this tool.
  • Evernote – Save your ideas, things you like, things you hear, and things you see and everything you find on the internet.
  • Wikipedia – an open source encyclopedia created by citizens of the world
